The Red Wolves Academy mission is to develop each individual player to their full potential. In support of this mission we provide consistent individual feedback and attention to each of our players. There are 4 main ways this works:
Player - Coach Ratio
At each Red Wolves team training session there are a minimum of 3 and upto 5 members of staff in attendance and actively working in each training session including goalkeeper specific staff. With our groups averaging around 20 players per session that is a player to coach ratio of 5:1 meaning each player receives more individual feedback, attention and coaching.
Mid block and end of block player reviews
The Red Wolves Academy syllabus is built around blocks of work that last 6-7 weeks each. During these blocks of work each player will receive 2 player reviews: 1 in the middle of the block and 1 at the end of the block. These player reviews will give players feedback on what they are doing well, what they can work on and some challenges from the coaches staff.
Individual Player Meetings
At the end of each block of work each player and their family will have the opportunity to sit down with a member of the Red Wolves Academy Coaching staff. These meetings will give players the chance to build relationships with the staff, to set goals, to ask questions and to seek feedback.
Player Development Webinars
Each month the Red Wolves Academy hosts a player development webinar on a topic designed to support the players growth on and off the field. Topics include: Nutrition, goal setting, growth mindset etc...
